What Customers Say About The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition:

You only have to watch out for bandits or creatures on the road. The scenery in this game is breath taking. There are so many quests that it hard to decide which ones to do first.I see no reason to repeat any of the more detailed information that you can find in other reviews for this game. This game has some of the best scenery that I have seen. The free form nature of the game allows you to wander around and find all kinds of people and places without having to really do anything if you don't want to. This is a great game and should give you hours of enjoyment. Whether its completing the quests or just roaming around the country side.

Unfortunately, I did not have the system powerful enough to play the game, so I waited til now. Oblivion makes thing so simple that it is easy and fun to continue playing.no more having to give up because of not knowing where to go or what to do next. Years ago I tried to play Morrowind but after a few hours I gave up and never return to it. The world in Oblivion is huge and beautiful but full of dangers. I have spent well over 100 hours on it and still continued to discover new places and more things to do. Despite it being several years old, the graphics are still top notch. I decided to follow the main quest, in a way to use it as a guide.

Even though the main quest, side quests, combat, magic are fun to play through, but seeing the world of Oblivion on horseback is just as fun and worthwhile experience. I got Oblivion for free when it came out and I knew it would be different this time around. Once I got used to the gameplay.the exploration begins. Play this game at its highest setting and it is an eye-candy to behold. Because this game presents an open-ended world and allows the player a lot of freedom to go and do whatever, initially I was confused. This game is long.very long, probably the longest game I have ever played. Oblivion is definitely a must have game, it is worth every penny of it.

Very good RPG. I prefer more action in my games so after several hours of gameplay I became a little bored.

Oblivion can be considered as an offline version of the most massive fantasy online mmo's currently out there. They are abundant quests, guilds to join and other ways for you to progress in the game without ever having to engage the game story-line ever again. Simply put inspite the game being 4 years old its still the best offline rpg out there to forget yourself completely too. Well all that needs to be said about this game has been said and done many times over by the earlier reviewers. I got late into the game but boy am I am enjoying the game and I have finally found an immersive offline rpg that I can play on my own without having to pay a monthly fees or having to depend on others to progress. This game allows you to follow the main quest line which is quite epic in nature by itself or if you want to live in a sandbox fantasy world than you can just run along on any direction after the intial quest exploring to what comes.

All this game is missing is an Auction house but bartering or haggling with npc's makes up with a amusing sales expirience.

The game has a living, breathing, massive world full of castles, huge cities, towns, outposts, dungeon etc.

Last but not least the game graphics are amazing even to this date with the cities, landscapes, castles, weather effects, day & night cycles and in general the game's world is rendered in great detail.

So instead of getting into details I will try to keep a short and concise review.

This game can last forever if just want to rpg a sandbox fantasy world or you can follow the game epic story-line and save the world which still offers hours of fun on its own or you can do bit of both(which is what I have done).

in which you can rpg a fantasy character.

Furthermore, the npc's seem to be living a life of their own within a day & night cycle which just serves to add a realistic touch.

Well in a nut-shell if you haven't played the game you need to get the GOTY edition and expirience this masterpiece on your own.

They are plans out there for a TES 5 and I am anxiously waiting to try out the next masterpiece in this series.

It is nice to escape to another world and this is the game for that. I really enjoy this game and I am not a game player. The biggest problem is it can take over your life if you let it. It can last forever if you want it to or you can play it when you feel like escaping from the real world for an afternoon or evening. Be careful to set a timer though or your whole weekend can pass before your very eyes.
